(b)	On March 12, 2014, John P. White notified L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) that he intends to retire on May 6, 2014, the date of the Company’s annual meeting of stockholders, and accordingly, will not stand for re-election to the Company’s Board of Directors.

The Company is grateful to Dr. White for his years of service to the Board.
