Acquisitions	6. Acquisitions Z-Wave On April 18, 2018, the Company completed the acquisition of the Z-Wave business from Sigma Designs, Inc. for $240 million in cash. Z-Wave is an Internet of Things (IoT) technology for smart home solutions. The Company will record the purchase using the acquisition method of accounting and will recognize the assets acquired and liabilities assumed at their fair values as of the date of the acquisition. The results of the Z-Wave operations will be included in the Company’s consolidated results of operations beginning on the date of the acquisition. The Company is currently evaluating the fair values of the consideration transferred, assets acquired and liabilities assumed. The Company expects to complete its preliminary purchase price allocation in the second quarter of fiscal 2018.
