In accordance with the treasury stock method, the Company has included the following common equivalent shares in the calculation of diluted weighted average number of common shares outstanding for the three and six months ended June 30, relating to outstanding stock options and restricted stock units:

Outstanding options and restricted stock units to purchase or receive 64,269 and 56,419 shares of common stock for the three month period ended June 30, 2019 and 2018, respectively, have been excluded from the calculation of diluted weighted average number of common and common equivalent shares as such options and restricted stock units would be anti-dilutive. Options and restricted stock units to purchase or receive 75,026 and 56,380 for the six month period ended June 30, 2019 and 2018, respectively, have been excluded from the calculation of diluted weighted average of common and common equivalent shares as such options and restricted stock units would be anti-dilutive.
