ITEM 8.01. OTHER EVENTS.

Effective December 31, 2006, Steven W. Burge resigned as a director of Tandus Group, Inc. (“Tandus”), the parent company of Collins & Aikman Floorcoverings, Inc. The resignation of Mr. Burge was not due to any disagreement with Tandus relating to its operations, policies or practices.
