On July 25, 2012, California Water Service Group (the “Company”) issued a press release (a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference) announcing the declaration of a quarterly dividend of $0.1575 per common share payable on August 17, 2012, to stockholders of record on August 6, 2012.

CALIFORNIA WATER SERVICE GROUP BOARD OF DIRECTORS

DECLARES 270TH CONSECUTIVE QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

SAN JOSE, Calif.  —  At its meeting today, the California Water Service Group (NYSE: CWT) Board of Directors declared the company’s 270th consecutive quarterly dividend in the amount of $0.1575 per common share.  It will be payable on August 17, 2012, to stockholders of record on August 6, 2012.

California Water Service Group is the parent company of California Water Service Company, Washington Water Service Company, New Mexico Water Service Company, Hawaii Water Service Company, Inc., CWS Utility Services, and HWS Utility Services.  Together these companies provide regulated and non-regulated water service to nearly 2 million people in California, Washington, New Mexico, and Hawaii.  Group’s common stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “CWT.”
