On June 13, 2007, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC), a wholly owned subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp., filed with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) a response to the NRC’s Demand for Information issued May 14, 2007.  On June 14, 2007, FENOC issued a Press Release that provides information related to its response.  FENOC’s Press Release and Response to Demand for Information are furnished, not filed, as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2, respectively, and are incorporated by reference hereunder.
