Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 28, 2011, Pinnacle Bankshares Corporation’s subsidiary, First National Bank, is closing its Smith Mountain Lake Loan Production Office located at 74 Scruggs Road, Suite 102, at Moneta Virginia. The closing is part of a cost reduction plan that identifies ways to improve the efficiency and profitability of the Corporation while still supporting all required functions and providing an exceptional level of service to our customer base.
