Pacific Premier Bancorp, Inc. to Present at America’s Community Bankers 6th Investor Conference on May 4, 2006

Costa Mesa, Calif., May 2, 2006-- Pacific Premier Bancorp, Inc., (NASDAQ: PPBI) (the “Company”), announced today that it has been invited to participate in the America’s Community Bankers (“ACB”) 6th Investor Conference to be held at the Westin New York at Times Square in New York, New York on May 3rd and 4th , 2006.  Steven R. Gardner, President and CEO of the Company, will be presenting on behalf of the Company at 12:00 p.m. PDT on Thursday, May 4, 2006.

Attendance at the ACB conference is by invitation only. Investors, analysts and the general public may listen to the broadcast live via webcast. Individuals interested in listening to the webcast should allow sufficient time prior to the presentation to register and login.
