Elbit Systems' Joint Venture with Rockwell Collins', VSI, to Supply Helmet Mounted Displays for F-35 Aircraft under Contracts Valued at $54.1 Million

Haifa, Israel, 16 June 2009 – Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT) announced that its joint venture with Rockwell Collins, Vision Systems International, LLC (VSI), has received several new contracts with a total value of more than $54.1 million relating to the F-35 aircraft.

The contracts received from Lockheed Martin Corporation, include the delivery of 52 F-35 Helmet Mounted Displays and 30 additional aircraft systems. VSI also received initial funding for the Pilot Fit Facility Standup at Eglin Air Force Base for the F-35 Helmet Mounted Display System program.
