     On May 9, 2006, URS Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the financial results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2006. A copy of the press release, entitled “URS Corporation Reports First Quarter Results For Fiscal 2006,” is furnished and not filed pursuant to Item 2.02 as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
