UNIVEST CORPORATION DECLARES
SECOND QUARTER DIVIDEND
 
SOUDERTON, Pa, May 25, 2005 - Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania (listed on NASDAQ: UVSP), parent company of Univest National Bank and Trust Co., Univest Insurance, Inc. and Univest Investments, Inc., board of directors declared today a $.17 per share quarterly cash dividend to be paid on July 1, 2005 to shareholders of record as of June 6, 2005. This dividend is consistent with the dividend declared in the same quarter last year, adjusted for the three-for-two stock split distributed on April 29, 2005.
