Item 8.01 Other Events

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated (the “Company”) has lifted the temporary suspension, announced on April 22, 2020, of the Company’s common stock repurchase program. As of November 18, 2020, $1.2 billion remained available under the Company’s share repurchase authorization. The share repurchase authorization has no set expiration or termination date.
