(b) On May 11, 2022, Eric Dorne informed United Naturals Foods, Inc. (the “Company”) that he intends to retire from his position as Chief Operating Officer of the Company, effective October 29, 2022.

On May 17, 2022, the Company issued a press release announcing the management change described in Item 5.02, above. A copy of the Company’s press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
