EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLANS The Company sponsors a 401(k) defined contribution retirement plan for qualifying employees pursuant to which the Company makes discretionary matching contributions. The Company’s expense under the plan totaled approximately $4.5 million in 2016, $4.1 million in 2015, and $3.4 million in 2014. In addition, the Company has defined contribution plans for qualifying international employees and contributions expensed under those plans totaled approximately $7.6 million in 2016, $6.4 million in 2015, and $5.1 million in 2014.
