(b)    On October 9, 2007, James T. Reilly, the Vice President of Finance, Treasurer and Chief Accounting Officer of Pegasystems Inc. (the "Company"), informed the Company that he is resigning from the Company, effective after the filing of the Company's Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the third quarter of 2007. Mr. Reilly's resignation is not related to any financial or accounting issues and does not involve any disagreement or controversy regarding the Company's financial reporting or accounting policies, practices or principles. Mr. Reilly has accepted employment with another company. The role of principal accounting officer will be assumed by Craig Dynes, the Company's Chief Financial Officer.
