Foreign Currency The Company conducts exploration and mining activities primarily in Argentina and Mexico and gains and losses on foreign currency translation are related to those activities. The Company’s functional currency is the U.S. dollar but certain transactions are conducted in the local currencies resulting in foreign currency transaction gains or losses.
