Lonergan Acquires 22,302 Shares

 

CHARLOTTE - May 22, 2014 - Chiquita Brands International, Inc. (NYSE: CQB) today announced in accordance with Rule 8.1 of the Irish Takeover Panel Act, 1997, Takeover Rules 2013, that as of May 21, 2014, its President and Chief Executive Officer, Edward F. Lonergan purchased 22,302 shares of Common Stock.
