Item 8.01 Other Events.

On July 14, 2008, TLC Vision Corporation issued a press release announcing second quarter financial results will be released on August 5, 2008, before the market opens. The company also announced that on August 6, 2008, TLC Vision will present at the BMO Focus on Healthcare conference at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York at 10:00 a.m. EDT. Full details of these announcements are in the attached press release.
