Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 18, 2007 TLC Vision Corporation issued a press release announcing it will release its first quarter 2007 financial results on Thursday, May 10, 2007. A conference call will be held on May 10th at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The call will be broadcast live on www.tlcv.com. TLCVision to Release First Quarter 2007 Financial
Results May 10 — Conference Call to Follow

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, April 18, 2007: — TLC Vision Corporation (NASDAQ:TLCV; TSX:TLC), North America’s premier eye care services company, will release its first quarter 2007 financial results before the market opens on Thursday, May 10, 2007.

TLCVision invites all interested parties to participate in a conference call during which time the financial and operating results will be discussed.
