Item 8.01 Other Events.

On October 19, 2005 TLC Vision Corporation issued a press release announcing it will release its 2005 3rd quarter financial results before the market opens on November 7, 2005. TLC Vision will hold a conference call during which time the financial results will be discussed. The call will be held on November 7th, at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The call will be broadcast live on TLC's website at www.tlcv.com under the "Webcasts" link in the Investor Relations section.
