On October 19, 2005 TLC Vision Corporation issued a press release announcing it will release its 2005 3rd quarter financial results before the market opens on November 7, 2005. TLC Vision will hold a conference call during which time the financial results will be discussed. The call will be held on November 7th, at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The call will be broadcast live on TLC's website at www.tlcv.com under the "Webcasts" link in the Investor Relations section.

TLCVision to Release 3rd Quarter 2005 Financial

Results November 7 — Conference Call to Follow

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, October 19, 2005: — TLC Vision Corporation (TSX:TLC) (NASDAQ:TLCV), North America’s premier eye care services company, will release its 3rd quarter 2005 financial results before the market opens on Monday, November 7, 2005.

TLCVision is pleased to invite all interested parties to participate in a conference call during which time the financial results will be discussed.
