Estimated Useful Lives of Property Plant and Equipment

Depreciation is computed on the straight-line method for financial reporting purposes using the following estimated useful lives:


Buildings and improvements		15 to 30 years
Machinery and equipment		3 to 30 years
Land-use rights		30 years

Examples include land, buildings, machinery and equipment, and other types of furniture and equipment including, but not limited to, office equipment, furniture and fixtures, and computer equipment and software.
