On July 31, 2008, Union Pacific Corporation (the Company) announced that its Board of Directors voted to increase the quarterly dividend on the Company’s common stock by 5 cents to 27 cents per share. The increased dividend is payable October 1, 2008, to stockholders of record on August 29, 2008.
