Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On March 12, 2018, Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (the “Company”) announced the planned retirement of Chief Operating Officer, Thomas P. Burke, by the end of 2018. The Company intends to initiate a thorough search to identify Mr. Burke’s replacement. Mr. Burke will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer of the Company on a full time basis through July 15, 2018, and then on a reduced schedule.
