MSC INDUSTRIAL DIRECT CO., INC. DECLARES 20% INCREASE

IN REGULAR QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

 

Melville, NY, October 24, 2012 - MSC INDUSTRIAL DIRECT CO., INC. (NYSE: MSM), “MSC” or the “Company,” the premier distributor of Metalworking and Maintenance, Repair and Operations (“MRO”) supplies to industrial customers throughout the United States, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.30 per share, representing a 20% increase from $0.25 per share, in the regular quarterly dividend. The $0.30 dividend is payable on November 21, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 7, 2012.
