        On July 16, 2003, the Board of Directors of Coast Casinos, Inc. approved a dividend of $3.50 per share, payable on August 15, 2003 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 1, 2003. On August 1, 2003, there were 1,461,178 common shares outstanding.
