Item 5.02                   Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On October 28, 2014, Ms. Renata Simril tendered her resignation, effective October 31, 2014, from the Boards of Directors and the Loan Committee of Broadway Financial Corporation (the “Company”), parent company of Broadway Federal Bank (the “Bank”), and the Bank.  Ms. Simril accepted another position at the Los Angeles Times and her resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
