On April 16, 2015, Optical Cable Corporation (the “Company” or “OCC®”) issued a press release announcing that the Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.02 per share on the Company’s common stock effective April 15, 2015. The Company’s Board of Directors declared that the dividend would be paid on or about May 15, 2015 to shareholders of record on April 28, 2015. A copy of the press release announcing the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.

OPTICAL CABLE CORPORATION
DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND
ROANOKE, VA, April 16, 2015 -- Optical Cable Corporation (Nasdaq GM: OCC) (“OCC®” or the “Company”) today announced the declaration of a regular quarterly cash dividend to OCC’s shareholders.
OCC’s Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.02 per share on the Company’s common stock effective April 15, 2015. The dividend will be paid on or about May 15, 2015 to shareholders of record on April 28, 2015.
The dividend announced today implies an annual cash dividend of $0.08 per common share.
