U.S. Department of Justice Clears SAP Acquisition of Ariba, Inc.

WALLDORF, Germany and SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Sept. 28, 2012 — SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) and Ariba, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARBA) today announced that the U.S. Department of Justice has terminated the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act in connection with the Company’s acquisition of Ariba, Inc. All of the required regulatory approvals for the transaction have now been received, and SAP and Ariba anticipate completing the acquisition in the first week of October 2012.
