Why restrict bearish bets on companies that deserve no protection as they are ripping off the public and are even insulting enough to sue the SEC when they question them? Makes no sense to put away Martha Stewart, the Enrons, the Worldcoms but to protect companies that are doing the same things and hurting investors in the same way.
