Dear Mr. Katz, 
I am strongly in support of new rules for shareholder access to the proxy.  As an 
individual investor and a beneficiary of a pension fund, I am interested in 
protecting my deferred income.  I see this as the central way my interests as a 
shareholder will be heard. 

However, I believe the current proposed rules need to go further, allowing 
shareholders to take action in a faster time frame and lowering ownership thresholds 
to a more reasonable level. 

I would like to commend the staff and Commissioners for all of their hard work on 
this important initiative.
