I’m writing in support of a strong Volcker Rule. Big banks should be making loans that help the economy, not making risky bets with consumers' money in the hope of making big bucks for themselves and getting taxpayers to bail them out if they bet wrong.

Banks that break the Volcker Rule should all face serious penalties for violations, since such violations endanger the stability of our financial system.
