I am writing to express my strong wish that SEC continue strong federal Whistleblower protection and stay the course with respect to its proposed compliance regulations, ignoring the corporate lobbyists who would weaken the law. Whistleblowers and their private lawyers should continue to be part of the federal investigative process so that whistleblower cases can be handled expeditiously by SEC. Whistleblower laws are at the heart of our history and continued democracy. In this day and age of financial fraud at the highest levels, whistleblower laws must not be weakened at the hands of corporations.
