To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to urge you to protect the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act from lobbying efforts that would cripple the effectiveness and skirt the intent of the legislation.
I urge that the ACT be modeled after the False Claims Act that has worked so well for the DOJ.
Specifically, I urge you to include in the Act the qui tam provision and whistleblower incentives, which have not only brought in many good cases, but have also provided the resources and labor to successfully prosecute them.
This Act has the potential to uncover and discourage financial abuses and to protect investors' interests. Thank you for considering my input.
