Subject: CEO pay disclosure

May 19, 2012

Disclosure of CEO pay needs to be transparent and out in the open. If CEO's feel they are worth the money then they should have absolutely no shame in disclosing it. Currently CEO pay is 380 times the average worker and then some. It is important that the public understands how much a CEO is earning - especially if one is an employee of that same company and doesn't even make a living wage.

Frankly I would go further and limit CEO pay to be no more than 50 times that of the average worker. If it is the work one truly loves then money is secondary. Unfortunately the emphasis on the results of work and the worship of it (money) leads to it never being enough. This only leads to stupidity and brutality on a grand scale. Lets put the emphasis on a healthier platform for a change.
