Subject: Companies should report their CEO-to-worker pay ratio to investors

U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission

To whom it might concern:

I'm writing to urge you to adopt the provision of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act that requires companies to report their CEO-to-worker pay ratio to investors.

As a former business journalist, I appreciate the importance of the public disclosure rules administered by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In the 25 years I invested in writing about businesses and studying their financials, I know the power that public disclosure can have on the actions of executives.

The current lack of reporting rewards those companies that are bad actors, while punishing those who strive for a fair balance of rewards to all who contribute to their enterprise.

Please write to me to let me know of your progress on this issue.

Sincerely;

Jim DuPlessis
