Subject: comment DF IX- Executive Compensation

May 14, 2012

There is absolutely no reason why anyone should have an income that far exceeds what they would ever need to live a healthy satisfactory life. No one needs an income of $20 million a day or year. It’s as bad as someone eating 10,000 calories a day when much much less is needed. It indicates some kind of an addiction which is a mental illness. Ignoring this is also an illness which I would call heartlessness, thoughtlessness and stupidity.

I’m not saying that it’s wrong to be rich. I’m saying that having an income of 1,000 times more money than could ever be used in a good useful way in one life is senseless and research has also proven it’s unhealthy and unwise.
