Item 8.01

Other Events.

On February 26, 2023 (the “Redemption Date”), Southwestern Energy Company (the “Company”) redeemed all of its outstanding 7.750% Senior Notes due 2027 (the “Notes”) at a redemption price equal to 103.875% of the principal amount thereof plus accrued and unpaid interest to the Redemption Date. Payment to holders of the Notes was made on February 27, 2023. The Company funded the redemption of the Notes using approximately $316 million of cash on hand and approximately $134 million of borrowings under the Company’s revolving credit facility.
