Item 5.02
Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Effective May 23, 2019, E. Michael Caulfield retired from the Board of Directors of Unum Group (the "Company") in accordance with the company’s bylaws, which impose a mandatory retirement age of 72.
