Explanation of Responses:

1. Boaz Energy II, LLC ("Boaz Energy") directly owns these Trust Units representing Beneficial Interests in the Issuer ("Trust Units"). The reporting person's ownership is indirect through Boaz Energy. On February 2, 2021, NGP X US Holdings, L.P. and NGP Boaz Energy II Co-Invest LLC entered into a Redemption and Assignment Agreement with Boaz Energy, pursuant to which Boaz Energy purchased and redeemed all of the membership interests of Boaz Energy held by NGP X US Holdings, L.P. and NGP Boaz Energy II Co-Invest LLC. As of February 2, 2021, each of Karan Eves and her spouse owned 34.24% of the limited liability company interests in, and served as a manager of, Boaz Energy, and may be deemed to indirectly beneficially own the Trust Units held directly by Boaz Energy.
