Explanation of Responses:

1. This amendment to the Initial Statement of Beneficial Ownership of Securities on Form 3 (the "Original Form 3") is being filed to correct the amount of securities beneficially owned by the reporting person. This revision corrects an administrative error. This amount includes 981.26 shares of GMCR common stock purchased under the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. Amended and Restated Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

2. This amendment to the Original Form 3 is being filed to add shares held indirectly by the reporting period through the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. 401(k) Plan. This addition corrects an administrative error.
