Explanation of Responses:

1. As permitted pursuant to the terms of the 2007 Stock Option Plan, the reporting person used 35,648 non-qualified stock options, which are being reported on Tables I and II. The shares were valued at the closing price, for the Issuer's stock on November 15, 2021, the date on which the reporting person exercised the options. the reporting person satisfied any requisite taxes incurred as a result of the option exercise being reported on Tables I and II. The reporting person's holdings of Monro stock increased by 2,873 shares as a result of this transaction. He effected this transaction via a "net" stock swap.
