Item 8.01.

Other Events.

On July 25, 2019, Chesapeake Lodging Trust, a Maryland real estate investment trust (the “Trust”), issued a press release announcing that it had entered into an agreement to sell its two hotels in New York, New York. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
