Item 5.02.Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangement of Certain Officers.

(b)On November 19, 2019, Green Plains Inc. (the “Company”) accepted Michael Metzler’s resignation as Executive Vice President – Natural Gas & Power effective November 19, 2019, to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Metzler’s resignation was not because of any disagreement with the Company. Mr. Metzler’s responsibilities will be allocated among other officers and employees of the Company.
