Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors: Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On July 25, 2022, Christopher Jon Edmonds was terminated from his position as Chief Revenue Officer of SmartRent, Inc. (the “Company”). In connection with his termination, Mr. Edmonds will be entitled to receive any accrued but unpaid base salary and reimbursement for any unreimbursed business expenses, in each case through the date of his termination, plus any benefits to which he is entitled under the terms of any Company benefit plan or arrangement.

 

The foregoing description of Mr. Edmonds’ Employment Agreement, dated March 16, 2021, is qualified in its entirety by the full text of the Agreement, a copy of which was filed as Exhibit 10.17 to the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the period ended December 31, 2021 and is incorporated by reference herein.
