The Securities and Exchange Commission held a roundtable at its Washington, D.C. headquarters on Feb. 19, 2015 to discuss possible improvements to the proxy voting process. The event consisted of two panels. The first panel focused on universal proxy ballots, and the second panel focused on ways to increase retail shareholder participation in the proxy process.
